if there is one thing for sure about this little girl, it’s that she is in love with being cuddled close. after sharing a few smiles (yes, smiles!) with my camera, she quickly let us know that she wanted to be cuddled tight by her mommy and daddy. soon those eyes that once looked around the room curiously were closed as she snoozed away for the rest of the session. with a belly full of milk and her swaddle tightly wrapped, she was perfectly content being tucked in close to her parents. and her parents didn’t mind one bit. as they held and kissed their brand new baby girl, they told me all about their first weeks as new parents. from waiting for their daughter to finally make her debut to late night car rides to calm her when fussy, these sweet parents are beautifully taking in parenthood. i love hearing about their stories and could tell that they are enjoying each and every moment with their sweet daughter. as they swayed with their daughter around her beautiful new nursery and kept her cozy in their arms, they looked at her with the most adoring eyes and everything about them reflected pure happiness. being a Washington DC family photographer allows me to work with a lot of amazing families and this sweet new family of three was definitely fun to photograph. they truly are one blessed family.
