what is your style?

if i had to describe my style, it would be honest.  i like my photography to be authentic and all about you.  when you look at your photos, i want you to feel like i truly captured who you are, as a family.  i love it when my clients tell me, “you’ve truly captured our personalities,” because that is what photography is really about.

do you help to pose your clients?

of course, that is part of my job.  i have a lot of clients that say, “just tell me what to do!”  and i will, don’t worry.  it is my job to make sure you look good in your photos so i will place you into positions that photograph well, then allow you to interact within those poses.  i’ll get you where i want you, and then let you do your thing!

when and how will i receive my photos?

after your session, i will pick the best 20+ images to edit in color and black + white.  it takes me around 2 weeks to edit your family’s collection of photos and, once ready, they will be delivered to you electronically for download.

can i print my photos anywhere?

absolutely, i provide my clients with a signed print release, allowing them print rights to print their photos at any time.  i have experience with printers that do a wonderful job printing images, so be sure to ask me for recommendations so you can print your images successfully.

can you travel to clients who do not live in your area?

yes, i love to travel.  additional travel fees do apply and will be discussed upon inquiry.

what is my deposit used for + what if i have to reschedule my session time?

a deposit of half the session price is due to officially get a spot on my calendar and it reserves your session time.  i understand that things happen and you may need to reschedule your session.  you can reschedule your session up to 24 hours before the session date and your deposit will transfer over to your new session date.  however, if you cancel your session and do not reschedule, you forfeit your deposit.  cancellations or rescheduling must be submitted 24 hours before the session date or your deposit will be forfeited.  if you don’t show up for your appointment or you are more than 15 minutes late, your deposit will be forfeited and you must reschedule a new appointment and pay a new deposit.  please let me know of any schedule changes or issues as soon as possible and i will try to be flexible and accommodate your needs.  because my calendar books very quickly, reschedule dates will be given as soon as possible.  your understanding and flexibility is appreciated.

because mother nature can be unpredictable and most photo sessions are outside, i may need to postpone or reschedule your session to make sure you receive the most ideal conditions for your session.  if weather issues arise, i will contact you as soon as possible and work out a new schedule and your deposit will still transfer.
