it seems like i was just photographing this sweet family yesterday because…in a way i did!  babies just grow so fast and their first baby is already 17 months old and is officially a big sister!  she grew into a toddler in the blink of an eye!  and she is a darling little toddler that is so full of smiles.  being an arlington newborn family photographer means that i am honored enough to photograph families during there first few weeks with their little one.  and what is really special is seeing those little ones grow and become big siblings!  once a teeny tiny baby herself, this big sister is now loving every minute of having a new little brother in the room across the hallway.  and while these two sweet parents definitely have their hands full i know (my girls are 20 months apart), i know there hearts are even fuller.  while daddy played with big sister and mama cuddled the littlest close, i could see genuine happiness in their eyes when they looked back and forth between their two babies.  photographing families as they become new families is one of my favorite things.  but photographing families as they grow is even better!  i love seeing my clients again and documenting yet another wonderful moment in their lives.  and this session seriously contains so much love and happiness, i am over the moon happy for this amazing family and hope to photograph even more of their happiest of moments as a new family of four!

A New Little Brother | Arlington Newborn Family Photographer

working with families like this is just one of the many reasons why i love being an annapolis in home newborn photographer.  having newly had two baby girls, the reality of newborn life is still fresh in my mind and i love working with brand new parents…as i still feel like one myself.  from navigating the new world of newborn sleep and lack thereof, to learning anything and everything about your new baby, newborn life is full of days to be remembered.  and this sweet new family of three is soaking in every moment with their brand new baby girl.  not only was this little one so tiny and perfect, but she completely rocked her very first photo session.  and there is one thing for sure, she loves to cuddle close to mommy…and i can tell that her mommy enjoys these sweet moments just as much.  surrounded by love and a perfectly thought out girly nursery, this little one has a childhood full of fun ahead of her.  with her sweet little stuffed animals lined up in her crib and new books awaiting on her bookshelf, the days ahead are going to be full of baby giggles and memory making for the sweet family of three.  if there is one thing that i know for sure, it’s that this family is going to have some very sweet moments together in the years ahead.  and because this mama loves hugs, lots of hugs too!  :)

Her First Two Weeks | Annapolis In Home Newborn Photographer

being an arlington in home newborn photographer is honestly the best job one can have.  not only am i surrounded by babies at home, but my job has me photographing sweet new little ones all the time.  and this little girl was more than ready for her very first photo session.  upon arriving at her home and meeting her sweeting parents, i was introduced to her sweet and calm self.  and between being cuddled by her mommy and daddy and listening to the click of my shutter, she was perfectly content throughout her session.  being a girl mama myself, i am in love with pink.  and this little one’s nursery was full of the sweetest pink tones, making it the perfect girly space.  at one month old, this little girl has everyone completely smitten by her.  even the family dog.  her sweet puppy loves her so much and was constantly checking in on her throughout our picture taking.  it was the sweetest thing and her parents have a feeling that their sweet puppy will be sleeping on the floor of this sweet girl’s bedroom in the years to come.  if there is one thing i know, it’s that this family is so blessed and they are completely enjoying their first month with their darling baby girl.  there love for one another is so sweet and this little one is so lucky with the sweetest family.  and did i mention her hair!?  how sweet!

Her First Month | Arlington In Home Newborn Photographer

oh my goodness, working with this sweet new family of three was so much fun.  being a falls church in home newborn photographer means that i am working with brand new families all the time, just days after they become parents.  and as any parent knows, these first days as parents can be beautiful and new and…exhausting!  but despite being a tad sleep deprived, this couple was so much fun and made their session an absolutely joy to photograph.  with their newborn baby girl arriving a few weeks early, we moved their session up to ensure that we photographed everything new and tiny about her.  as we all know, that first month of life has babies growing so fast!  not only does this sweet little one have two parents that adore her every squeak and squeal, but she has two furry siblings who loved patrolling her nursery during our session together.  i can just see her chasing them around the house, in a year’s time.  having a baby brings along so many new things and feelings and this couple has taken to parenthood beautifully.  as they kissed and cuddled their sweet baby girl, i could see just how happy their little daughter makes them.  with two puppies running around the house, a pool to splash around in in the backyard, and two of the most loving parents…this little one has some years of love and laughter ahead of her.
