being an old town alexandria family photographer means i get to spend my autumn season is one of the prettiest towns there is, with some really amazing families.  and this family was especially awesome.  from the moment they arrived at their session, they were all smiles and more than ready for a great time.  i love having fun with my clients during sessions, it creates such honest portraits that capture genuine happiness and emotion.  this family completely rocked their session.  as they cuddled and kissed one another and doted on their family dog, this family showed me what true happiness looks like.  happiness is laughing with the ones you love the most.  happiness is telling funny jokes and whispering sweet secrets.  and happiness is that look of love in your eyes when you look at your children.  just watching this family together warmed my heart and these two boys are complete heartbreakers for sure.  not only are they so very kind and the best of brothers, but they have those charming little smiles than make their mama smile.  something tells me this mama is going to have a hard time choosing a favorite photo from their fall collection and i hope to document even more of their sweetest family moments as their boys grow and grow.

every year i meet this family in the fall to update their family portraits, and every year it is amazing.  and this year, there was a new little addition to the family and she stole of show.  being an alexandria lifestyle family photographer, i get to meet families when their children are teeny tiny and am lucky enough to watch them grow up year by year.  and watching this family as a family of three become a family of four, has been so much fun.  the last time i saw this family was in the spring, when this sweet baby was only days old and this little guy was newly a big brother.  today, they are the perfect brother and sister.  this big brother simply adores his little sister and loves to make her smile and laugh.  just watching him play with her tells me that he is going to be her protector for a very long time.  everything about this family makes me smile and i am so fortunate that they choose me year after year to document their sweetest family moments.

Two Sweet Peas | Alexandria Lifestyle Family Photographer

being a northern virginia lifestyle photographer means i get to spent a lot of time in the beautiful outdoors, and fall is simply stunning.  even better, this family is simply stunning.  with a newly 3 year old little lady and a 6 month old little boy, these two sweet parents have a lot to be thankful for.  between baby giggles and rides on daddy’s shoulders, these sweet kids made their parents smile as we documented some of their sweetest family moments.  and this little guy was such a charmer for the camera.  every time i held up my camera, he gave me the biggest smile with those sweet baby eyes.  photographing him was the easy part, but picking my favorite pictures of him was hard!  he definitely spoiled my camera.  with many years of memory making yet to come for this sweet family, i hope to photograph even more of their darling moments together as these sweet babies grow.

Sweet Little Charmers | Northern Virginia Lifestyle Photographer

being a sterling family photographer for a few years now, i have worked with a lot of wonderful families.  but families with boys are some of my favorites.  boys are just so silly and fun, making it really easy to get genuine laughter and smiles out of them.  and these boys did just that!  between being tickled and smooched on by their parents, these brothers shared their sweetest smiles and laughs with my camera, making my job as a photographer so much fun.  and boy do they love their parents.  watching this family together was simply the best, and i can tell this collection of fall photos resembles their true happiness and love for one another.  if there is one thing that i love doing as a sterling family photographer, it’s providing a fun and stress free experience for my families.  and when this mama emailed me telling me her boys had a wonderful morning playing games with me, i was elated.  not only did this family have a wonderful time but, more importantly, it shows in their fall portraits.  just like this family did, i left this session with a smile on my face and couldn’t wait to see their photos as i began editing.  meeting and photographing this beautiful family of four was an honor and i hope to photograph even more of this family’s sweet moments together as their boys grow and grow.
