i wasn’t supposed to meet this sweet little girl until january, but she decided she wanted to spend christmas with her family and arrived a little early.  being a springfield newborn photographer brings me so much joy, especially when i am introduced to families like this.  having chatted with this mama while she was in the hospital waiting for her baby girl to arrive, i was so anxious to meet her and document her sweet family during their first days home together.  and, at eight days old, this sweet girl completely rocked her very first photo session.  as my camera fell in love with her, her sweet parents told me all about her arrival and the story of their beloved pup.  having been sick for a little while, this sweet baby girl arrived just in time to meet and say goodbye to her big sister pup.  on the day after bringing home their baby from the hospital, they said goodbye to their first baby…a beautiful husky dog.  while their hearts ache, they are comforted with knowing that their sweet daughter now has the most beautiful guardian angle.  just listening to this story pulled at my heart and made me love this family even more.  and with every sad goodbye, there is a beautiful hello.  not only is this family completely gorgeous and happy, but they are completely meant for one another.  just watching the three of them together, it is as if they have been a family for ages…not just 8 days.  everything about them is beautifully natural and they are the sweetest parents to this lucky little lady.  i only hope to photograph even more of their family’s special moments together as this little girl grows and grows.
