Being a Fairfax in home lifestyle newborn photographer is so rewarding. I am honored to work with some of the sweetest families, as they welcome a family tiny member into their lives. And this family is certainly one to remember. Upon being welcomed into their gorgeous home and meeting their tiniest new addition, I spent a morning full of heartfelt moments and laughter with this sweet new mama and daddy. In between photographable moments, I heard all about their baby’s birth story and first days home as a new family. At almost two weeks past her due date, this little sweet pea was sure worth the wait. Not only was she calm and darling throughout her entire first photography session, but she shared a few smiles with my camera that melted my heart. As I took her portraits, her parents sweetly looked upon her and their eyes said it all. They are simply in love with her sweet little girl! As they navigated their first days of diaper changes, feedings and learning to master the perfect swaddle, they were so fun to chat with between photo scenes. One of the best things about being a newborn photographer is not only photographing such beautiful brand new life, but to also meet some new friends while doing so. I am so fortunate to have some of the best clients and I cannot wait to watch this sweet family grow. They are blessed for sure!
